Customer's application: Transfer of Hand Sanitizer
With the production increase in the hygiene sector, there is also a growing demand for equipment purchases. The photo above shows a major production increase in March in a factory of alcohol gel.
Since the beginning of the month, the factory has been operating 24 hours on three shifts, including weekends. For the creation of the third work shift, it was necessary to acquire new machinery. Still according to the company, two more production lines should be implemented this month.
Due to the greater demand for alcohol gel and other personal hygiene products, manufacturers seek to increase production, in this situation the diaphragm pump fits perfectly, it is easy to adapt in existing installations by replacing other types of pumps and increasing production.
ARO® diaphragm pumps in stainless steel or conductive Acetal both with PTFE internals are suitable for the production of alcohol gel, due to optimal chemical compatibility and explosion proof protection (alcohol based hand sanitizer is flammable).
For installations where ATEX classification is necessary, the recommendation is to use pumps with metallic or groundable center bodies and PTFE internals.
All suitable ARO® solutions guarantee:
1. Greater durability
2. Do not alter the pumped product
3. Are easy and quick to install and operate, compared to other technologies
